Solution for Indoor LED Display Condensation

  • Proper ventilation

Placing your display where there is proper ventilation can help. LED displays have vents and openings on the enclosure, allowing enough air to circulate. You can also install Ventilation devices that let the damp air escape quickly and allow fresh air inside. 

  • Install Heating Elements

Another way is to install heaters inside the display to create warmth and maintain a consistent temperature. These heaters are usually controlled by a thermostat or temperature sensor, which keeps the LED display warm to a certain level even if it is not operating.

  • Using Moisture-absorbing Material

Place desiccants strategically inside the LED display enclosure to reduce the humidity by absorbing excess moisture trapped inside. Keeping these desiccants in breathable pouches is recommended to prevent direct contact with the electronic parts.

  • Install Dehumidifier

They are designed to tightly seal the LED display, preventing moisture from entering and causing condensation. Additionally, weatherproof enclosures feature built-in ventilation systems that allow for sufficient airflow while keeping out water. 

  • Ventilation Inside Enclosure

Choose LEDs equipped with blower fans inside the enclosure to ensure proper airflow and cooling using forced air. Additionally, consider enclosures with ventilation holes that allow just the right amount of cooling air to reach the display without using fans. Both methods are highly effective in preventing condensation. Combining both allows you to have suitable ventilation styles for fast-moving air and gentle breezes.

  • Vapor-Tight Ventilated Enclosures

You can also try vapor-tight ventilated enclosures, specially designed for outdoor LED displays, to keep your display dry. If your LED gets directly exposed to rain or snow, these enclosures will act like protective covers to keep water vapor and other liquids out, with clever ways to let air circulate inside while keeping moisture away.

  • Anti-Condensation Three Anti-Paint Solution

Using three anti-paint solutions on circuit boards is beneficial because it creates a thin, low-surface-tension coating on the circuit board surface, which causes water drops to slide off and prevents them from building up on the screen.
